Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Benefits Administrator to manage and support our employee benefits programs. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administration of benefits, ensuring a seamless employee experience, maintaining compliance, and driving process improvements. The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, technically savvy, and passionate about delivering exceptional support.


Key Responsibilities:

Benefits Administration & Support

  • Oversee daily operations of employee benefits plans, including enrollment tracking, eligibility maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Assist with benefits-related onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefits inquiries, providing timely and accurate information and guidance.

Employee Communication & Education

  • Develop and distribute clear, engaging communication materials related to benefits, open enrollment, and wellness initiatives.
  • Educate employees on plan options, coverage details, and company policies.

HRIS & Technical Support

  • Act as the primary administrator for the HRIS system (preferably UKG), focusing on benefits configuration, open enrollment setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and system updates.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Support compliance efforts by preparing data for audits, annual reporting, and required employee notifications.
  • Stay informed on federal and state regulations affecting benefits administration.

Process Improvement & Collaboration

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance benefits processes to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Partner with HR leadership and benefits brokers to assess plan performance, identify trends, and recommend enhancements.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in benefits administration and HR systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and provide high-quality customer service.
  • Experience with electronic benefits platforms and HRIS systems (UKG preferred).

Preferred:

  • CEBS certification or willingness to pursue certification.
  • Advanced education in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Knowledge of relevant compliance regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA, COBRA).

Details:

  • Location: Eagan, MN (100% In-Office)
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift
  • Compensation: up to $35/hour (Based on experience)
